Hello!

My name is Briana Filippi as you're probably well aware by now. I am ridiculously obsessed with anything and everything beach related, and often turn to the waves for inspiration. Creativity plays a huge role in my everyday life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. As a designer, I am constantly striving to improve my skills to ensure what I create is trendy, functional and profitable, while at the same time being extremely mindful of my environmental impact.

In 2013, I completed my Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Design at FIDM Los Angeles. Starting in 2015, I worked as an Associate Designer for a company called Belldini, who specialize in missy knitwear and sweaters. I was promoted to Designer in 2019, and put in charge of revamping the higher end line, Belldini Black Label. For the first time we ventured into producing bottoms, dresses and wovens. My designs have been featured in the likes of Bloomingdales, Macy's.com, Lord & Taylor, Stein Mart, Burlington, Ross, and TJ Max. In addition to designing, I have also gained vast experience in areas of merchandising, technical design, production and communication with overseas vendors. I have also overseen photoshoots, assisted with photo editing, as well as worked on layout design for catalogs, look books and trend reports, and helped to provide accurate copy and photos for ecomm vendors.
